I just got this yesterday haven’t had a chance to take it to the watch guy yet I figured I’d post it here to see what y’all think you think it’s real or fake and is there a way I can determine before I take it in it is an automatic when you shake it the second hand starts to move the three little hands have come off but they are inside the watch thank you for your response

I wouldn't think a real Rolex would easily start falling apart like that.

Still a $100 watch

Still a $100 watch

What gets me is if you look at the acid test I did it passes the 18 karat gold test I’m going to try to take it down next week to a place where they buy gold and have them test it with the machine

Stainless will withstand 18k test acid.

Hi
watch the second hand if it slightly jerks out the seconds its a replica a true rolex sweeps smoothly

Usually if the second hand doesnt sweep is one sign of many

Good fakes will sweep. The jerky second hand on cheap fakes is because it has a quartz movement.
This one screams fake and there are many tells. The first clue is the sticker on the Back 16610 that is a submariner not a Daytona. The best thing to do is look up a real daytona online and put the watch next to the picture and start comparing. Also look for anything that is not right or of poor quality. Rolexes and most fine watches are flawless. They don't make mistakes. Secondly remove the band. The model number will be engraved at 12 o'clock and the serial at 6 o'clock. Research these online to insure that they are correct. Also search the serial. Many fakes use the same serial number over and over so the serial will come up in a search as fake. The weight is usually off and it will feel light. And then there is the Rolex taper. You can google that. Only Rolex does it and it is very hard to duplicate well. Happy hunting I am off to bed here in Dallas Texas. Cheers
