im getting loads of signal lines, two for silver coins nr the suface, get a cross of the rods, but nothing on the metal detector, how do i know how deep the coins are to the surface, with the rods, the first time i visited this field i asked for the nearest item buried on the surface, took the signal line, it crossed, metal detected 2ft away, and had a lead item,
re-visited and did it all again with different questions.....got two locations, coins buried at 3ft deep, silver shilling dated 1850-60
the other bronze penny dated 1880, and a spot with a roman coin, horse design solid gold at 3-4ft deep, the cornd just starting to grow so marked the spots
