Hello I`m in Ky. and working on Jesse James history and his buried Gold/Money. I don`t have much but, one avenue I`m trying to follow is his supposed involvement in the Knights of the Golden Circle. I found that he was also in Clay and Leslie Counties. Through my family I found out he had family around there. He visited several times and rested up at the toward the end of the Civil War and after. Any help here ? For fellow prospectors, about 25 years ago I handled about 2 1/2 oz of Gold Nuggets. Not pickers. They came out of a creek around Oneida,Ky. Anyone, Help ?
