Got to be sunrise, sunset would be over the ocean to the west, timbered mountains are east of Brookings, and oh yeah, we had a red sunrise this morning in Roseburg also.

Pics at 5:30 PM, aimed at the ocean, spruce trees are about 100 feet above sea level.

It's hard to tell, I should have stated the facts with the pictures. The spruce "forest" is about a 1/4 mile of the beach.
