Metal Detecting
Went out to the honey hole today with my buddy Car91rs. Within 5 min he found a nice vintage 14k gold ring with a red stone.

Maybe I'm spoiled after finding a gold coin a few months ago in the same area, but I felt I didn't find much today.

Before leaving I found what I thought was another eagle button but turned out to be a Los Angeles Railway Co. button. It's my first and the thing came out pretty after cleaning it with electrolysis. Also found a 1947 Rosie silver dime along with a wheatie and a 12th Cavalry Regiment hat pin.

I guess detecting will never be the same. That's what I get for trying to find a silver half, lol. Well, I wish I could find a large cent like the guys back east do but here in Texas it's hard to find one at least in the far southwest.

Enjoy the pics TY

Oops! Chicken is dinner,lol!
