Hi All... Wonder if this has happened to anyone else MD'ing. Last week went out for the last time before winter sets in. Well Saturday I cleaned out my van took all my gear and my Ace 250 into the basement. Looked around for my Vibra Probe 570 pinpointer, no were in sight. Oh well it must be in the van yet, Went to the car tore the whole car apart from front to back . No pinpointer. OH S-it I said . Tried to remember when I saw it last. Came back in the house told the wife, she came out and looked through the whole car Nothing. Was so mad I got in the car and went back to the park that I was at 3 days before. Walked around the section I worked , looked in the leaves near the gutter were I parked. Nothing. Came home so mad at myself for losing it.
Well Sunday morning got up to run to the store to pick up the birthday cake I ordered for my wife's birthday Dec 6. Walked into the garage and happen to look under the patio table I store in the garage for the winter. Holy crap there was my pinpointer under the table. Said to myself how the He-l did it get there. Must of had a senior moment when I came back that day from MD'ing and layed it on the table, which I never do. I always keep it in the back of the van with my other gear.
Well I am sure you know how happy I was. Just happy I found it. But I did get a little hint from the wife, She said oh don't get all upset you know Christmas is coming.. I told her only about 100 times about the new Garrett pinpointer that is out now. Had the Vibra since 2007... SOOOO maybe Santa has a surprise for me..LOL Vibra is a good pinpointer, but I heard the Garrett is smaller and a lot better,,,, Will let you know what Santa brings.. Shane
