lost fishing leads

a dive off the harbour in north cornwall, produced a varied range of leads, the sea was in a swell, and it was like being in a washing machine, the last visit i did here, in 2008 produced 126 leads, in 3 days

As my mom you to say " don't go out in bare feet " .
Those look like they would hurt like hell to step on

Just in case anyone is confused by the strange looking ones with the wires sticking out. They are designed for surf fisherman, the wires (normally copper) hold the weight from drifting around and are light enough to bend when it's time to reel the rig in.
I can imagine they would hurt to step on as well! :o
 
All I do is fly fish but, those sinkers are very interesting.
 
Surf fishing weights have to be pretty heavy depending. I have some mixed in with my freshwater stuff in my tacklebox.
