Lost lake in Minnesota

This one baffles me. Everything points to a lost lake.
I’m a long ways away from its distribution area.
The only other that comes close would be a pelican lake.
But the notches are way off for that. S.E. Minnesota

FWIW, there was some serious long-distance trading going on by some during that time frame.

It looks a lot like Kaolin flint from So. IL. Do you see any crinoid fossils in the material? Gary
 

I think it is an awesome picked it up. I can understand easily how it could go many ways. Its one of those questions in a collection that adds character and that mystical, metaphysical element that draws us all in alittle closer.
