I saw a yard sale advertised as an old person sale with old watches. In my neck of the woods something like that would be hopped on by others but I figured I’d take a chance and get out there half hour early. Luckily she had not put them out yet. It was worth the trip as I was the first to go through it. They were mostly ladies watches from the woman’s grandmother but they were all lower Jeweled ebauche movements. I picked out the excellent condition Lord Elgin driver watch, waltham 17 jewel pocket watch, 800 silver cased Pocket watch along with the ladies gold filled ribbon watch strap which I could use on another watch. I also snatched a sterling silver ring and a silver plated Chinese year of the cat medallion. any ideas
on the ring logo? Look like ROIEC with 07 for maybe 1907? Paid 50 for the lot. I cleaned up the Lord Elgin and replaced the Crystal and did the same for the Waltham. Both are running perfect.
