Last night I headed over to Earthworks' house on a mission, to photo all my silvers found over the years. Thanks to some painstaking work by the Earthman, here's the outcome. I didn't count them, but it's photo after photo of oldies, and I could remember where I found most of the best ones, as I'm sure everyone remembers. There are four Barber halves, a half Reale, 3 cent piece, and tons of others. I also included two of my favorite coppers, a CT Copper no date and a really nice 1766 KG with "Alfred Hitchcock" on the front. All coins were found over several years in New York and with my trusty and now duct taped together Radio Shack (Bounty Hunter) detector. Brought back some great memories to put all this together. Thanks for checking it out. Bergie (It wouldn't let me post all photos, so keep scrolling down for more.)

NICE set of pics.....it's amazing what you were able to find in that cluttered, messy car trunk of yours (after all the good digging of course!) :)

AND ... I gave Earthworks ONE (1) measly Merc a WEEK ago ... and haven't see it since...let alone a cleaned picture of it!!! HEY .... I'd better re-look at your pics right now!! :(

OFF to a virgin 1770 home/yard in hours!!!! yippeeeee!

hey Phil, question for you. what is that copper looking coin in the 5th picture down right over the 1908 Barber dime?

Dude,

That's a Merc (what is left of one), believe it or not. It's beat to hell. I found it along a cliff by the Hudson River in rocks that had ground it up.

Berg,

That is a fantastic collection of silver and other items! I only hope I can get to that level...hell you know me, I would be just happy with one colonial copper.

Congrats on the excellent coinage and that machine of yours is still going strong!
