Hello All,
Yesterday at work some people dressed up for Halloween. One guy dressed up as Panama Jack (later revealed) with the provision that there were 6 FL lottery tickets up for grabs if anyone could guess his costume. With around 15 people in the room one round of post-it guesses in a jar went by with no winners. Round two had me and another lady with the right answer. A drawing was proposed by our director between me and her for the six tickets. I won and then being the dick that he is, the director put me on the spot in front of the room by saying: "Well, there's six of these things so you guys could actually just split them up." Now, I probably would've done that anyway given the circumstances, but he made it sooooo damn obvious that he was unhappy that I won! Anyway, I had two 5-match tickets for last night's drawing one of which I just found out I matched 3 of 5 on for a $49.50 prize.
The other one didn't even match one number and I still have a best of 6 match ticket left for tonights drawing.....
Now, I failed to write down the numbers of the three tickets I gave to the lady who tied my winning guess, wonder what happened there
MAYBE all will be revealed on Monday. It's important to note that the ladie's husband was in the room the whole time that this all unfolded so I didn't have any ulterior motives in my gesture
P.S. The odds of matching 3 of 5 numbers I found out is exactly 889 to 1. So am I lucky, yes. But I wonder if I might've been even luckier....
