Louisiana buckle

Hi... I have found this buckle. is it something military or just a regular buckle? 3 inches long and 1,5 inch wide. I have also found 2 Indian head pennies(1890,1905) and several Wheat pennies from 1918 to 1925, in the same area.

All the military buckles that I know of from Louisiana have a pelican on them. Still a good find though.
