Louisiana Hunting

I'm relatively new to the wonderful world of civil war relic hunting (which is what I believe I'm most interested in). I'm looking for some good places in Louisiana, preferably close to the central area, to start with. Has anyone hunted some good sights down here? Thanks!

Welcome to Tnet Juggernaut. Ryan, part of the fun of this hobby is doing the research. I doubt if you are going to be given any specific locations to find CW relics. There is plenty of research material available online and at your local library.

I've done some research and found a few places of interest. Just looking for a good place for a first hunt outside of my front yard. lol
