Louisiana points

The very first point I ever found is in this frame, I was 7 years old. I think I found the last one in this frame when I was 17. After that I got side tracked for awhile chasing pretty girls. They were all found in Calcasieu Parish expect for the little Scottsbluff that one was found on a beach of the Gulf Of Mexico in Cameron Parish.

Nice frame of Louisiana points....look quite familiar to me. Several Frileys in there. The "Scottsbluff" in your frame on the lower right is what most here call a "Red River Knife"....some appear like exhaused Scottsbluffs. I am sure they are. Made by the same people they say. Nice points!!

Atlantis0077, you may well be right. I was really surprised to find that on the beach, I wasn't there looking for points. I now understand why paleo points are found on the Gulf Of Mexico beaches but I had no clue when I found that. It sure is small for a Cody Complex piece. I'm my memory is right I think it's only 1.25 inches long. The big point in the center was an accidental find also. I was at a pond fishing and just walked up on it. Of course I looked for more but there wasn't as much as a flake anywhere near there, just that one point.
