Well this morning I took a trip back to an old house were I found a Confederate Calvary heel plate well guess what I found the match today :headbang: Also found a beautiful buckle that says colonial on the back a couple of old bottles. I also found the little silver ring that was down pretty deep, A round shape object with a horse head in it and also an 1859 Canadian large cent that seems to be in great shape. It rained the whole time an the mosquitoes were ruthless but man was it worth it. I still cant believe I found matching heel plates. Thanks for looking and HH.

That buckle is fantastic!

Your return trip proved fruitful :icon_thumleft: Love those CSA plates

Great finds, but why are those necessarily Confederate heel plates? I'm not saying that they aren't, but I've dug several out here in Denver that look very similar. Great stuff, either way.
