Here is a trick not mentioned in the manual.The Tejon has a slow retune all metal operating mode and a fast retune trigger check all metal mode.A metal detector that has a fast retune mode can ground balance much easier than a detector with slow retune speeds.A metal detector has to constantly retune to maintain a constant steady threshold.If you want to make ground balancing easier,pull the trigger back in the fast retune all metal mode to ground balance.The Tejon can seem strange to GB in slow retune.You can also quickly do a GB check while on the fly by pulling the trigger back and quickly bob the coil and listen to the threshold as you move over different ground.
 

Thanks for that tip. I did notice it a little different from Vaquero when you gb by rolling knob to am.
