I recently was out hunting with my Deleon. I was finding plenty of clad. Only problem was the depth was indicating 7 and 8 inches when in fact I was digging the coins at 3 to 4 inches. I had never experienced this sence I got this detector...the depth has been extremly accurate until that day. I checked the battery indicator and still had half of the bars. I went ahead and changed the batterys and altho I didnt return to the same place to hunt the problem seemed solved. So am I correct in assuming it was low batts? Or could it have been minerals or something where I was hunting? BTW I LOVE this machine!!!!!!
