Got back down to my Union Camp in the low country of SC for a few hours. Found 4 more Eagle buttons including an Eagle I. I have dug 9 total at this site so far. Also found a 1852 Trime which is my first. Also found some lead 2 round balls with holes punched through them and a lead bar piece with a hole in one end. Also found a pearl button with backmark "THE KING". Can't find any info on this button. Got my first mercury dime as well 1926. Thanks for looking and good luck out there!

Very nice stuff! The round balls where probably for fishing sinkers. The questionable item is from a Victorian era Parasol or umbrella. Pretty amazing that you found your first Merc and Trime. The trime's are not easy to find. I haven't done it yet!!!

Excellent finds Highstrung. I like those Civil War buttons, and the Trime.

Excellent day. Trime is high on my list as well.

Very nice! We have friends that own a vacation home on Fripp Island. Would LOVE to hunt Beaufort!

Well Done Highstrung on the CW finds and saves. Love to find those buttons. The pearl button, with the "King" backmark, I wonder if Elvis was entertaining troops here.....wait a minute, this was a Union camp......nevermind. Great finds. Congrat's.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Very nice, love those buttons!

Nice, love the trime. The mystery item is an umbrella slide.
