Hello everyone again,
I was out on sunday with my friend Dave, hunting an old park that I know has been detected by many others and myself. I was using my ctx3030, running it in silver mode, combined, ground coin and smooth sound, and deep on. We were hunting the trails looking for some targets that others may have missed. Last week while searching the trails we recovered a 1901 barber dime, 1912 Canadian quarter, (sorry I didn't take pictures of dime or Canadian quarter) a 1941 Washington quarter, and a 1943 mercury dime. This week after digging a few wheat pennies, I decided to venture onto the grass area of the park. I picked a small area and decided to grid it low n slow. At a depth of only 8 inches, a nice sound a 12-43, 12-44 with a solid red target on smart find screen, I found a 1917 mercury dime, and a 1935 wheat penny. It sure pays to slow down and and keep the coil low. Nothing is ever hunted out no matter how many detectors have covered an area.
