Hit a local swim area today.I had gone over this area in the fall , however , the water level is down about 3ft allowing me to hunt an area that was previously too deep. After about two hours I had pocketed a bit of change including seven nickles which I envisioned each to be a large gold ring....not. A shark tooth necklace which I had to battle a large Zebra Mussel for. A small silver ring , and several pieces of what I thought was junk jewelry.

Well , after getting home and putting my eyes on , things got a bit better.
One of the nickles turned out to be a 1920 Buffalo?? Looks like a recent drop??
Also....every piece of "junk jewelry" turned out to be silver!

Two of the rings are a mans/womans matched set.....Hillbilly Divorce??

Not to shabby for a pre beach season hunt. Hope everyone has a great weekend.Weve waited long enough for this weather.

Also found /pictured a set of military dog tags. Anyone have any idea on what I would do with them? Googled the name but really didnt come up with anything.

Great finds! Congrats!

Great Silver finds. Congrats on the Buff too!!

Nice digs! The set might be a wedding set. If they are the same size that is. The military tags can be returned. I will get back with you about this.

The matched rings are size 7 1/2 and 10.
Put the dog tags on local Craigslist lost and found.
