My F75 Bounty Hunter gets 7 inches at a low sensitivity of 35. I can pick up large object at about 2 feet. Deepest coin found was aver 16 inches. I usually run a 3 tone, high gain, and coil for the area hunted.
No problem Phan, yeah I think the depths were respectable. No I haven't tried anymore modes yet. I will try and do some more tomorrow. I would also like to crank the sensitivity up and see what effect it has in all the modes. This thread may become quite lengthy. Lol
Yeah, when I did my test, I live out in the country, so I could crank mine up to 10. It gave me about 2" more than your results at 7. I remember in AM my quarter was picked up at close to 10" (what the manual says is the limit. I tried a can of beans and it picked up at like 20".lol.
Yep. Though it is made cost effectively (a cheaper build quality) it is quite the powerful unit. It was not designed for the 'professional" detectorist in regards to replace or compete with high end units. It is the higher end Bounty Hunter line that gives superior results to hobby hunters that don't need (or want) to pay professional prices. Having the 13 bit process and pro options in a cost effective package moves the Bounty Hunter name out of the old and into the new, shared by Teknetics and a few Fishers.
