Luckiest first silver find ever

So on my way home from I saw a union bank and was like hey, I wonder if they have any rolls of half dollars... I go in and ask and they have 3 rolls, so I said I'll take them. I checked my wallet and I only had 10 bucks so I'm like Ok 1... I get home and boom, half the damn roll was silver!!! I can't believe this is happening lol I think everyone knows where I'm going first thing tomorrow...

Just for future reference, you know you got lucky, but I've been hunting halves since 2008ish and seldom come across Customer wrapped halves, but never even scored more than 3 silvers in a roll. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the remaining 2 rolls tomorrow morning.

Whenever I find cwrs I have better results when it's just one roll or and odd number of rolls like $60. Any time I ask a bank and they have $100 or a large round figure I never do as well. I know most banks here if you don't have an account will take a $100 dump but no more. I think this is what I run into....

Not sketchy, smart. I always carry a decent amount of cash for banks, thrift stores, estate sales, etc. You can't buy it if you don't have it...like you learned by only buying one roll the first time!
