Lucky find

Today my parents thought it would be funny to do an easter egg metal detecting thing.
And in the midst of all the detecting I got a nice tone, but long story short I found a sterling ring.








.925 its a bit hard to make out...

It weighs one gram, according to coinflation's silver scrap calculator its worth $0.84.
No complaints though, it was really cool.

Actually, we were at my aunts house, they have quite a bit of property, mainly covered in riverbed sand.

It was in the riverbed (a dry one anyways).
