This is bad... My addiction for silver is growing, I think I am beyond help. Its no longer just CRH, I am going estate sale crazy; the amount I find there is staggering. Once you learn the hallmarks I can search an entire house in no time flat, taking all of the missed sterling silver items and buying them for pennies on the dollar.

Halves:
4 boxes: x4 40% x1 1964
$9.50 loose: Skunks

Dimes
2 boxes: Skunks
$35 CWR: Skunks

Estate Sale: Bought these three items for $20.00

278 gram Sterling Silver dish: (around 8oz silver)
143 gram "Weighted Sterling" candlestick holder: (need to pry off)
~325 grams Misc Sterling silverware: (around 9.5 oz)

So I got like 4 PM's asking about what to look for to tell if something is silver.

So I think I will post something later this week with what I have learned :icon_thumright:

Lol, I came back to this thread with the intention of asking what signs to look for when hunting for silver, glad I hit the refresh button first!

Being new to this whole scene the only things I know to look for are markings of "Sterling" and ".925" but those seem pretty obvious.

Great estate sale haul there Yougot, keep it up!
