Luxor clock part??

I have a round disk that's copper with a glass seal but the glass is inset with another ring that's copper keeping it in place. It has Luxor in script across one side ill post pic when I get home. As I just found this part of the T-Net. Approximately the size of a half dollar. What in the world was it ??used for?? Thanks for your input.
