I have one myself. Nearly all of them were post war. Very common and unless they are an engraved presentation piece to someone well known, not worth a whole lot. Most were imported as well and the Boston makers name is likely the name of the store that imported it and sold it. Mine came through Boston as well. Different store and I can't remember who offhand & it's locked in my display case at the moment but there were a ton of companies that sold them. Got a pic ? Edit... My curiosity got the best of me. Mine is Wm Reed & Son Boston. One just sold on Ebay for less than $100. If you use Ebay as a price guide pay no attention to the silly asking prices or "buy it now" prices on swords that haven't sold. Average sold price for one in decent condition with the scabbard is $100-$250.
