Machinist's tools
Bought this group of machinist's tools this past weekend for $5, all in good working condition. I don't know much about tools but I could tell these were quality tools. Seller indicated they originally belonged to a machinist uncle and thought they were at least 40 years old.
Starrett 222RL Micrometer
Lufkin 2630 Micrometer
Lufkin Miti-Mite Magnetic Base Magnifier
and these items, not sure about function and completeness:
Enco 340 on-off magnetic base indicator holder (but in an Enco 300 box)
Brown Sharpe indicator
There is a Starrett 579E Telescoping Gage box but I don't think I have those parts.
Any help explaining this last batch of items is appreciated.
Looks like the 222RL Micrometer goes for about $60 ...
