The company was operated from the late 1890's-1910's, they were at 122 Euclid Ave. in the Clarence Bldg..

It's possible that they didn't only make hair care products, there was another company in business in Cleveland at the same time known as the Peal Medicine Co. and they made Sexine Pills, which was a quack med with strychnine as the main ingredient, it was said to cure 'Nervous Debility. They also advertised a product called Fem-I-Na to enhance a woman's bust using suction. I find it hard to believe that Madame Peal and the Peal Medicine Co. weren't somehow one in the same, but I could be wrong...
