I got this for $3.49 at a local thrift store. I think it's beautiful and great condition. It's marked with foil sticker Napco Ceramic Japan SH 479 on the bottom. The only comparable I can find is a Worthpoint sold listing from 2007.

Gorgeous Madonna & Child Figurine Napco Made in Japan | #27982213

I'm curious what it sold for back then if anyone has a subscription. Also, I cannot find info on age etc. does anyone know of a site to research Napco stuff? Thanks in advance for any help.

Nice buy! I know its not a nativity set piece, per se, but I still think this is the ideal time of year to flip it for a good profit. Congrats.

In general, I pass on anything Napco. I'm sure there are some pieces that have enough value to be worthwhile but it seems like every one I ever researched wasn't worth reselling.

That one sold for $28. Perfect time to sell like others have said, just add Christmas in the title somewhere

Thank you all! I listed it before any of these replies and started it at $29.99. If no interest after this week I'll drop the price.

Trdhrdr007, usually I pass on Napco as well. I did sell a Napco head vase for $49 plus shipping a year or so ago. This piece is much bigger than the head vase and much more appealing (to me), that is why I bought it.

GibH, that listing is crazy! If only... lol

EagleRidge, thanks for the info and link.
