This morning I hit a cellar hole spot. I have hunted it before but a year with some really deep frost can shake things up a bit ! Managed a few finds ! With a 1903 indian being my only coin find . Next to the Indian is what I thought was a Token . But it turned out to be a heavy thick flat button with a hole in it . It is marked TREBLE GILT STAD COULOR some cutlery, The plated bracelet is kinda neat but again the emphasis being plated ! A few other do dads ! Thanks for looking and happy treasure hunting ! Wow buddy it looks like there's more to be found there if that cutlery and such is coming out of the soil. Can I see a closer pic of the buckle. What kind of buckle is that bud ?

Hey Ahab , Yeah I will clean up the early suspender buckle and post a pic of it after I finish raking leaves ! LadyRelic was already a little miffed I stayed out longer than I said I would but I felt sure something good was going to show at any point with all the signals that were surfacing ! I will get back out this weekend for another go at this hole ! maybe tonight maybe in the morning ! You had a great day yesterday with all but that elusive silver showing up for you ! Sorry I have not commented on your post yet but Ill bump it when it starts to die ! LOL MaineRelic

Here you go Buddy ! I am estimating the suspender buckle at 1830 - 1860, It could be a little later ! I always smile when I see a boot sole protector pop out of the ground ! ?Have you dug one of these yet in these parts of the woods ?? I did not think I would be showing you another PIC of the Bracelet I found ! But it cleaned up pretty good and appears to be made of pewter or at least some kind of white metal ! No Markings on it ! But buy manufacturing method I would guess 1920's to to late 30's !! Just my estimation !! MaineRelic

Love that suspended piece buddy! I was so psyched to get that complete shoe buckle yesterday. One of my first digs ever was a civil war heel plate. Couldn't believe it when I found out what it was. Literally my first hunt away from my house. image-830743427.webp But never a regular heel guard as such
That bracelet is really nice looking
