Looks like you found some connecting pieces. Nice pottery shards. They make great shadow box displays!
 

Is pottery scarce up there? I get excited when I find it here because it’s very uncommon, other places it sounds like it’s scattered everywhere and on the same level as debitage.

I found mine digging...
 

Me too in one small area, a midden, makes me think the mussel shells may help the preservation.

That is the case with bone.I would say ground stability has alot to do with it.
