Heres my slate collection. There are a couple projectile points. There are numerous pieces of hexagonal bayonets,a couple lances i guess i'll call them.A possible pendant, sharpening stone,a nd numerous unidentifiables. This particular piece of broken banded slate bayonet is really unique as it was repurposed after being broken. These bayonets have been found up to 15" long i believe. This base was rounded after being broken and used as a knife. 20231101_091709.jpg 20231101_091655.jpg 20231101_091037.jpg

Good looking frame Jay. I like the information you shared on the slate something I don’t find much of.

Very nice! the slate points we find out here are mostly mariposa slate which is layered and thin. I have hundreds of slate points still find them after a good rain.
