Makers mark on ring found today

Brother in law found this ring today. I'm almost positive it's gold plated, but I was wondering if anybody could help me identify the makers mark on the inside to better tell me how old it is. Thanks!!!

Makers mark is a three leaf clover with 14 stamped beside it.

The Stuart Nye Company in Asheville, NC uses a 3 leaf clover as a makers mark, so you might want to research them. They've been around since the early 1930s.
