We saw several yesterday washed up on the beach at St George Island, FL. From what I understand, you don’t want to step on one of these tiny little jellyfish. A world of severe hurt ensues. Careful out there, metal detectors! Our dog was very curious of it as well. We had to hold it back from grabbing it.

Blue stingers we call them. Vinegar is the antidote for the pain. Lessens it by a huge amount. Damn they hurt!

They wash up on the beaches in Florida often. I was surf fishing once and a tourist family was walking by. There were a few Man O Wars washed up on the sand. A little boy from the family ran up and stomped on one, I guess thinking it was a balloon. Poor kid started screaming. I told them to put meat tenderizer on it & it would help a lot.
