Hi, everyone!!

I found this metal detecting here in East Texas. It is heavy for its size, in my opinion it weighs over a pound. It looks tarnished because I tried to clean it off and it doesn't readily come off like it were just "dirty". it is super bright silver on the inside. It is maluable and non magnetic. Any ideas? Would love to hear, what is probably obvious to most, on what this is! Please? I greatly appreciate you guys sharing your knowledge, much obliged! Can take better pics if needed

Plumber lead. Lead and oakum was used to seal cast iron drain lines.

Yup, lead. Sometimes its from plumbing as previously stated, spillage while casting something, sometimes I think its just from house fires.
I like to save it up and melt it into big lead ingots in a little cast iron crucible. I don't really know what I'll do with it next, but I have lead should I ever need it.
