My buddy called me today all excited (rightly so!) after flipping the plug to uncover 8 colonial coins from the 1720's-40's (7 Georges + 1 half reale!!!) so I had to get out there and managed an 1817 Matron Head for myself making copper #12 on the season.

Very nice. Is your friend going to post his coins as well? Sounds like you have had a great start this season. :icon_thumleft:

Forgot about these...The buckle cracked me up when I saw it and the tombac button came out of the ground quite clean which is kinda rare for the site I'm working...very damp farmland.
