Blazing bush trails and camp, re-surveying incorrect 100 yr old property lines.... 6 days of not seeing another soul (just 'the freighters'..zoom in on pic of boat on rock shore! , just bears, deer, wolves, coyotes, raccoons, squirrels, snakes....and every bug that likes my blood! My kinda time off!

I went to school with a kid that used to rave about Manitoulin Island. Seems like it would be a great place for exploring. Lots of First Nations, brief Jesuit, and not too old white man history...

Yes surf, still quite...'untouched' by the whiteman' ...but than again!....that's how it became excessable!
Still very rugged and unforgiving if your careless!
