When I moved from Missouri I left hundreds of pounds of broken artifacts in a rock garden I had there, still moved over 1000 pounds of artifacts and petrified stones when I moved. I have a petrified log I found while hunting artifacts that weighs over 300 pounds, should have seen the faces of the movers when I pointed it out and advised they would have to load it, it was going with me.

Nice saves its a rare day to find pieces later that fit .

I picked up a few of these at friends ranch in Idaho.. Have seen matte/ plate/bowl/his thang spells worst than me.
Big ones of these in several collections from Nodak threw Kansas.
I dont think my best girl could get it in back of pickup let alone drag it 600 miles.

"I don’t understand how it gets heavier" Not sure what you mean sir. I moved from Missouri to Florida, Atlas Van company moved over a 1,000 lbs of artifacts , I didn't see any need to move another 4 or 5 hundred pounds of broken artifacts.

Here is picture of the petrified rock I found walking a creek one day that they moved to Florida. I had to roll it about 50 yards to road where my pickup was parked and found I couldn't even pick it up, covered it with brush and returned next day with 2 friends to help load it.

All in good spirit my friend. 20-30-40 pounds than feels more like 40-50-60 pounds today. I seem to get a little bigger every day. I smile hard and take credit for it.

Oh I wasn't offended and didn't think you meant anything derogatory, just didn't understand was all, now I understand what you mean. When I found the big rock I was 39, a lot easier to move the rock then than now. I moved it twice in my current home, I put it where it is now and built a flower bed around around it so I didn't have to move it again.
