Went out in the backyard this afternoon to begin to learn how this operates.

I have not updated it yet as I wanted to see before & after tests, to see what if anything changed.

What I noticed is that a Sliver quarter did not ring up at all, which I have no idea why, so need your help as to what the issue is.

Washington Quarter - No response.
Indian Head - 55
1/2 Real - 82
Seated Dime - 87
Large Cent - 88

The Rebel, that doesn't sound right that it doesn't see a silver quarter but it will see a silver dime. Just did a test with my Manticore using a silver Washington quarter laying flat & on edge with no issue seeing quarter using same software & program. Might try a Factory reset on Manticore to see if that helps.

Do you have 90 and higher discriminated out?

Was your silver quarter buried deeper than the other coins. Notice you are running sensitivity at 20. Try taking your sensitivity up as high as you can take it with out getting to much chatter. I have silver Washington quarter buried at 6" in my test garden. I did a long noise cancel. I have a lot of EMI in my yard. Running in All-Terrain General , recovery speed 5, Audio Theme Normal, Profile simple, frequency Multi IQ. I was able to hit the quarter with no problem. Also might want to try All-Terrian High Conductor mode for silver.
Also don't know what changes you made when you did your test. That's why I said to do a Factory Reset to put every back to the stock factory perimeters.

The coins were just placed flat on the grass.

There is a long thread over on Friendly about coils with this same issue right out of the box. Turns out there are a batch of bad coils from the factory.

I reached out to ML with my issue and they reached out to me this afternoon & are sending me a new coil.

Catch is they're sending me a label, I have to supply the box/envelope & once they get my coil back, they'll ship my new one out same day.

Just for giggles, turn off tracking, do a ground balance, and try again.

Just happened to my buddy. Called Minelab and they said his coil is faulty and he sent it back for a replacement.
