I went CRHing with my dad today. We got a few rolls of quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies. The nickels, dimes, and quarters were all skunks, but the pennies were really good! We bought 10 rolls of pennies. Out of three of the rolls, we got 17 wheaties, an 1883 IH penny, a Canadian penny, and a 1972 clipped planchet. Not too bad of a day!

Out of curiosity, were the three rolls machine wrapped or customer wrapped?

I love clipps. Only have found two to date.

I'm with smokey but I don't have any clipped planchets.....could you please post a picture for me? Curiosity is killing this cat lol

The rolls were machine wrapped. My bank doesn't accept customer rolled rolls. I will post a pic soon of the clip.

I don't understand banks that won't accept customer wrapped rolls. I mean if you have an account there and put the account number on them, why wouldn't they accept them? Is it B of A by chance?

No, Fulton. Personally, I have never seen anyone try to bring in rolled coins, but it is just easier to use the coin counting machine.

Well see, you left out the part about the coin machine.

I know. I'm sorry. It makes it really nice though. I have even checked it with my bank that counts the coins as you put them in. They don't cheat you out of your coins like I have heard other banks do. Here is the clip...

While I like coin machines and realize sometimes you come up a little short and sometimes you come up a little ahead there is no way for anyone to tell you they don't cheat you. It's a machine and coins are coins it will most likely 75% of the time be a little more or a little less.

If that is the case, it has always been pretty darn close!
