As far as deposits go that's more of Red Deserts kind of thing but I thought I'd take a whack at it anyway. Indication was positive on the second photo for gold so I dowsed seeking the largest deposit for you. Be interesting to see RD's analysis though.

Huh. There are a couple of local legends around here, and at least one panned out back in the 60’s-70’s. I’m Christian, so I don’t mess with the spirit world for faiths sake, and I don’t quite understand this yet, so as long as it’s not psychic or anything, would you be willing to try and narrow a couple spots for me? I’m a forester so map making is one of my skills, so I can crank out some wide range and very narrow maps from all scales.
