Map of Privateer Wreck 1600's
If any of you want a map of a virgin wreck site in the Caribbean ? Here it is. The cannons from this wreck are in approximately 15 feet of water. The wreck is in the water right off the beach in Antigua. It's not too hard to find. Google Hawk's Bill Resort on Antigua and you are there. The Resort has no idea the cannons are there. As you are looking at the beach from the water, Hawk's Bill Rock is to the Right. Hawk's Bill Resort is off to the Left.
This was going to be a project, but like every where else Antigua signed an agreement with UNESCO and there is no treasure diving in Antigua now.
Doesn't mean that if you go on vacation and want to dive on an old Privateer with an assortment of cannons sizes, that you can't dive this one. Enjoy.
