Maria Muldaur

I saw Maria about ten years back at a big folk festival and she only sang Billy Holiday songs for her set. At the end of her set she said she had noticed that the food area had mostly vegetarian food there and she realized there were many vegetarians in the crowd. She then said she would sing a song just for them. I thought to myself there is no way she is going to sing a vegetarian song. When she began this one I almost rolled down the field laughing.
