For a Few Years they Parked a Tractor Trailer
in the Entrence, My Guess to Prevent Explorers & Partiers from Using it.
I believe they Recently Sealed it Shut

there is a Rumor the cave goes all the way to Yuengling's
Cave, But
impossible as The cave would need to head Downward, Then Make a complete U Turn.
Head Under Streets & Come Back up Several Blocks Down.
Though Caves & Pipelines were Supposely used in the County During Prohabition to Get their Product to the Speakeasy's i'm Not sure Who Did & Who Didn't Skirt the Laws

Rettig Brewing Co. originally known as Rettig & Liebner, Blue Tavern & Brewery was founded by Charles Rettig & John Liebner in 1865. Blue Tavern Brewery orginally sat at Southwest corner of East Norwegian & Railroad Street, Later moving to Northwest corner of Market & 9th Street and then 820 West Market street. Blue Tavern Brewery went through many name changes before landing on Rettig Brewing Co. in 1901 such as Gottlieb Steidle Blue Brewery & Saloon 1868, Rettig & Liebner Blue Tavern & Brewery 1869, Market Street Brewery 1877, and Charles Rettig & Son 1893. Rettig Brewery made Edelweiss, Pale Lager Beer, Rettig’s Augustiner, Rettig’s Standard, Rettig Ale, Rettig Beer & Rettig Porter.
