Marking on cat

Any opinions if this is supposed to be a marking on this...... Or age and what it is made of

And how big is it? Looks about 4 or 5 inches tall from pics.

Not sure how much is in there it's like a slight rattle with what sounds like sand to........how did you know it would rattle?

I figured why would somebody WELD a plug on a small statue? Especially ALL the welding. A lot of work to enclose nothing.

So I was expecting the rattle.

That would make sense. Correct size assuming it's 1/4" walled or so.

Welded plug in the base of a cat urn.

Here's one from a pet crematorium currently. What ya got there is likely the earthy remains of Mr. Bigglesworth.
