found several bullets yesterday and a degreaded coin.

I need a little help with a small brass/copper piece that is a half inch in diiameter with a small band that struts its diameter internally. Possibly a percussion cap?

Also a stone that fits nicely in a right hand. The stone is fairly soft perhaps of sandstone composition.
