Does anyone hunt in Maryland? If so what have you found and where, just general location.

I've never hunted there, but here is some info re: Gold in MD.
The main area in MD is around Great Falls, in Montgomery Co. Other Counties are Frederick, Baltimore, Harford, Howard, & Carroll!
Do some research for Specific Spots!

Hey thanks I will researh that. Winter is coming and Im planning to do all my research then. Have you found any goldor treasure? And where? Just curious dont tell me specific info on location> I ve always wanted to be a big time treasure hunter. Like looking for pirates treasure or ships treasure.No time now till my kids are grown.

Hi the gold in the Stream Scotts Run at great falls is controlled by the state of Va do to it's a nature resevere. They make it clear your not aloud to take minerals, sand, ect from there. Besides that I haven't had no luck in Md finding gold. I go to Nc to prospect. That state hasn't became tree hugging yet. Any other Maryland Gold Prospectors on here? MIKE
