I believe they had something there. A stone or a Masonic symbol? I have this pair. The cuffs are gold-filled and the symbols are a small pieces of 10K gold. I tried to get 25 bucks out of them and found there were no takers. The little 10K gold pieces may weigh 0.03 grams together. I'll try again later this year to unload them. That ones cool. Nice find.

Thanks for the reply I've seen that symbol while looking for a match to the one I have the overall shape reminds me of the one I found but I haven't been able to find anything exactly like it.... it looks like a strange cross between a bird and a snake.
Kinda seems like you got your chance to try selling them again just now lol
