Masonic token

Found this in a roll of pennies. Just know its a free mason stamp but not real sure what its purpose was. But a nice surprise : )

Here's a response given five years ago by a 32nd degree Master Mason in Boston, MA and moderator on AskaFreemason.org and masonforum.com.
"It is quite common for people to have pennies struck with symbols of their organization. I have seen it from the Elks, 4-H, etc. These pennies amount to a nice trinket or souvenier for the members of the organization, and carry little monetary value. For example, you can get an entire roll of "Masonic" pennies on ebay for around $1.00, and the only reason that it costs that much would be be because of the work it takes to mark the coins ."
