Here's a response given five years ago by a 32nd degree Master Mason in Boston, MA and moderator on AskaFreemason.org and masonforum.com.

It is quite common for people to have pennies struck with symbols of their organization. I have seen it from the Elks, 4-H, etc. These pennies amount to a nice trinket or souvenier for the members of the organization, and carry little monetary value. For example, you can get an entire roll of "Masonic" pennies on ebay for around $1.00, and the only reason that it costs that much would be be because of the work it takes to mark the coins ."

Thanks for reply. It is always nice to learn more about the history of random finds specially unexpected and oddballs like these.
